Craft Chocolate Workshop

Melt into the wonderful world of craft chocolate making and discover the remarkable journey from cocoa bean to chocolate bar.

Nestled amongst rolling hills, flowers and friendly farm animals, this immersive workshop invites you to experience chocolate in a completely new way. Whether you’re a passionate chocolate lover, curious foodie, or simply looking for a memorable day out, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for chocolate.

Your experience begins with a warm welcome and a comforting cup of fragrant cocoa husk tea as we introduce the fascinating story of chocolate. From there, you’ll be guided through our bean-to-bar chocolate factory, learning each step of the craft chocolate-making process—from sourcing and roasting cocoa beans through to cracking, winnowing, refining, conching and tempering.

Along the way, you’ll discover how flavour develops at every stage and what makes single-origin chocolate so unique.

Next, we’ll slow down for a guided tasting of carefully selected single-origin dark chocolates. We will compare tasting notes, explore the flavours of different growing regions, and learn how factors such as climate, soil and fermentation influence what ends up in your chocolate bar.

Then it’s time to get creative.

You’ll build your own luxurious rocky road to take home, choosing from an irresistible selection of fillings and toppings. Combine our house-made honey marshmallows with delightful filling options to create a treat specially made with our signature craft chocolate.

To finish, we’ll hand you a rich, handcrafted hot chocolate and invite you to wander the farm at your own pace. Meet our fluffy Highland cows, miniature donkeys and Valais Blacknose sheep, stroll through the flower gardens, and soak up the peaceful surroundings that inspire everything we create.
